Following the completion of my eacher training studies at the Outwood Institute of Education in 2013, I began my areer as a Teacher of History at Outwood Academy Portland. During my time at Portland I worked within Deep Learning leading on collaborative learning as well as undertaking the important roles of ITT Coordinator and NQT Coordinator. In January 2017, I was successfully appointed as Head of Humanities at Outwood Academy Brumby and following two successful terms I gained promotion to the position of Associate Assistant Principal in Deep Learning in September 2017. In this role I again led on collaborative learning, but with the added responsibility of leading on AFL and the implementation of the new feedback and assessment policy.
As Assistant Principal at Outwood Academy Shafton, I will be working within Deep Support to ultimately ensure that all students receive a world class learning experience on a daily basis.
