The Scholars Programme

Scholars Programme 2020 – 2021

As part of our commitment to the academically most-able, we have developed an exciting supercurricular programme for a select number of students in each year group, who are invited to join the programme.

The “It’s Who We Are” programme will have two cohorts of students. The Junior division will invite the most-able students from Year 7 and 8 while the Senior division will be for students in Years 9 to 11.

One of the key aims of IWWE is to increase the number of students heading to top universities including the Russell Group universities.

Students will be personally invited to apply for the programme and interviews will be held to decide upon the final cohort, aiming for the top 5% of each year group.

At the start of each division there ill be a launch event which will involve parents and selected students outlining the exciting programme of events the students will follow. Students who successfully complete the junior programme will take part in Graduation as “Diamond” students and will be invited to apply again for the Senior Division. A new cohort of students will also be invited at this stage to apply for the Senior Division based on Y8 Praising Stars 6 outcomes.
