Letter to Parents and Carers: September Return: Invoicing for Non Returned Uniform Loan Items

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we continue with our preparations for the new academic year, I am writing to inform you of a necessary change to our loaned uniform policy, effective from September.

We are proud to continue supporting students who may need a temporary uniform item, such as a spare skirt, shirt, tie, or PE kit, during the school day due to unforeseen circumstances. However, the consistent non-return of these loaned items incurs significant costs for the academy and impacts our ability to provide this essential support to all students.

To ensure the sustainable provision of emergency uniform items, we will be implementing the following policy for the new academic year:

Return Expectation
All loaned uniform items (e.g., skirts, shirts, ties, blazers, shoes, PE kit) must be returned to Reception or your child’s Learning Manager by the end of the school day or, at the very latest, by the end of the following school day.

Invoicing for Non-Return
If a loaned item is not returned within this timeframe, families will be invoiced for the cost of a replacement item. Please note that replacement item costs will vary dependent upon what sizes we have available, i.e. Trutex invoiced items will be more expensive than non branded invoiced items. Notification 
You will be notified via letter should an item not be returned, along with details for payment.

Purchasing Branded Uniform Items
Parents should visit the Trutex website to purchase branded uniform items using our unique school LEA code: LEA00655SC.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us manage our resources effectively. Please encourage your child to return any borrowed items promptly.
