Letter to Parents and Carers: Year 10 GCSE Hospitality and Catering

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of the Hospitality and Catering GCSE at Outwood Academy Shafton, students cook a variety of products. Outwood Academy Shafton will provide the ingredients and packaging required to produce the individual products. This will incur a cost and we are therefore asking for a contribution of £20 per term this will equate to £60 for the full year, this will cover the whole of Year 10.

This can be paid as a one-off payment or by weekly instalments throughout the year until the payment is complete. Payment should be made via IPayImpact, our online payment system.

We realise that our families lead very busy lives and have therefore designed our payment system to enable your son or daughter to participate in a practical learning experience whilst preventing the need for you to purchase the materials at a greater cost.
