Letter to Parents and Carers: Public Transport

Dear Parents and Carers, 

I am writing to address a recent and serious concern regarding the inappropriate behaviour of a minority of students while using public bus services. Specifically, we have received reports of water-throwing, which has caused discomfort, alarm, and distress to members of the public and the bus operator. 

Our school is dedicated to continually educating our young people on the importance of being safe, respectful, and responsible citizens. We take great pride in the conduct our students exhibit during school hours.

We urge all parents and carers to discuss this matter with their children. Please reinforce that this behaviour is unacceptable and has a negative impact on the community and its residents.

While this is a public service, we are committed to working closely with the bus operator to identify any students involved. Please be aware that we will be assisting the police with their enquiries as they seek to identify and address anti-social behaviour.
