Dear Parents and Carers,
I am writing to remind you of our mobile phone policy.
As you will know, from Monday 29 June 2026, new government legislation required schools to ensure that students do not have access to their mobile devices during the school day. As a Trust, we have always implemented a phone-free policy across our sites. Therefore, our existing rule remains strictly in effect: if mobile phones are brought into school, they must be switched off and kept inside students' bags at all times while on school grounds.
An exemption is made for students who require the use of mobile phone technology to manage medical conditions, such as diabetes or bluetooth hearing aids. In these specific circumstances, arrangements will be agreed upon individually, and the student will have a sticker in their planner.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
Alison McQueen
Principal
