Letter to Parents and Carers: Personal Development
Fri 23 Oct 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are delighted to share an update on the exciting Personal Development opportunities available to your child this half term.
All students are invited to participate in our wide range of enrichment opportunities. Please encourage your child to explore these activities and try something new this term! In addition, students can earn virtual badges, ranging from Artist to Adventurer, through our Honours awards system, accessible via the student portal.
We are proud to report a record-breaking number of praise points awarded both inside and outside the classroom. With 46,763 praise points logged so far this year, our students continue to demonstrate exceptional dedication. Praise points are updated weekly, and the student who achieves the highest number of Star Student recognitions each week is celebrated as our Learning Champion of the Week.
Finally, we will host our annual Remembrance service on Wednesday, 11 November for students and staff. We warmly invite students who are members of cadet organisations to take part in the service. If your child wishes to participate and wear their cadet uniform, please ensure they request permission from their unit in advance. Whole-school events are a central part of our community, and we greatly value our students' contributions.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Yours faithfully,
Sarah Riley
Assistant Principal
