Letter to Parents and Carers: Arbor Portal
Tue 03 Nov 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are continually seeking ways to improve communication with parents and carers to ensure we provide the best possible support for you and your children. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that over the next few weeks, we will be launching the Arbor App to enhance our parent communication channels.
We encourage all parents to log into the Outwood Parent Portal regularly. This platform remains the primary hub for updates regarding your child’s behaviour, academic progress reports, and the Outwood Honours Programme. All parents with a registered email address, as well as students using their school credentials, have access to this portal.
Payments for school meals, educational visits, and other items will continue to be processed via iPayimpact. Even if your child does not take school meals, please ensure your account is activated, as this is the sole payment method for school trips and events. The iPayimpact app can be downloaded directly from your mobile app store.
The Arbor Portal is now live, and parents will receive an email containing their login details. Arbor will enable parents to communicate with the school, update contact details and medical records, register for Parents' Evenings and Pathway Planning days, and view student timetables and exam entries.
Please follow the steps below to set up your account:
1. Go to https://login.arbor.sc
Please note that you must do this on a web browser (desktop or mobile), not the App, the first time you log in.
2. Enter your username (the email address to which this letter was sent) and click “Forgot your password?” A reset link will be sent to your email to create a password.
Please note that the password reset email may indicate it was sent from your child's primary school; this is a known system error within Arbor and can be safely ignored.
3. Click on the link which has been emailed to you and set your password.
4. For security purposes, you will be prompted to verify one of your children's dates of birth in the format requested.
Once your account is set up, we strongly encourage you to download the Arbor app and enable push notifications. As we transition from SMS to in-app messaging and email, using the app will allow us to share more detailed updates without text length limitations. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play Store, where you can log in using your registered email address and newly created password.
Yours faithfully,
Alison McQueen
Principal
