Children in Need: Friday 19 November 2021

November 2021

Dear Parent/Carer,

As you will know, it is the annual BBC Children in Need fundraising event on Friday 19 November 2021.

As well as taking the opportunity to learn more about the lives that Children In Need changes, we are inviting students and staff to attend the Academy wearing a brightly coloured top or accessory. It is hoped that most, if not all students will get involved in the spirit of the day.  All other uniform rules still apply as normal. This is not a non-uniform day.

If you wish to make a contribution to our charity collection for Children in Need, you may do so via our iPay system.

Please take some time to discuss the importance of maintaining excellent standards of behaviour as always with your child; nothing changes in this respect. If the students make this a success, it means events such as this are far more likely to be approved in the future.  Some of the anticipated 'Frequently Asked Questions' are addressed overleaf.

Yours sincerely,

Alison McQueen
Principal
