Reporting a Positive Covid-19 case during Christmas Break

Mon 14 Dec 2020
Thank you to all parents/carers for contacting us in a timely manner, allowing us to respond swiftly to any positive cases that have come into the academy. As we enter the Christmas break, it would be greatly appreciated if you could follow the below procedures as confirmed by the DfE:

Please make the academy aware of any new positive cases if:
  • A student has developed symptoms from 4pm on Thursday, 17 December 2020 to 5pm on Saturday, 19 December 2020 and has subsequently received a positive test.  The link to the form below will be open from 4pm on Thursday, 17 December 2020 to 5pm on Wednesday 23 December 2020 to allow us to track and trace anyone who has developed symptoms within 48hrs of last being in the academy. Please note that no one will be in the academy to answer the phone or pick up messages left.

This form must be completed as soon as possible, in full.  Once the form is submitted, you will be contacted by a member of staff in due course.

Please do NOT contact the academy if:

  • A student has developed symptoms after 5pm on Saturday, 19 December 2020 and has subsequently received a positive test. As the student will have developed symptoms after 48hrs of last being in the academy, the school does not have to be made aware and parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
