Winter fuel grant deadline approaching

Last month the Council launched a COVID-19 winter grant scheme to provide support to households in the borough with children who access Free School Meals.
 
As well as providing vouchers for the Christmas and February half-term holidays, additional funding has been provided to help the same families eligible for Free School Meals with fuel and energy costs over the winter months. Families will be able to claim a one-off grant payment of £80 per household.

All applications must be submitted before the scheme closes on Sunday 31 January.
