Letter to Parents and Carers: Year 11 Product Design GCSE

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of the Technology curriculum at Outwood Academy Shafton, students have to create their own product for the Product Design GCSE.  Your child is now coming towards the end of the course and will soon be completing their final product.

At Outwood Academy Shafton we will provide the materials required to produce the individual products; however, this will incur a cost and we are therefore asking for a contribution of £20.  This can be paid as a one-off payment or by weekly instalments. Payment should be made via IPayImpact, our online payment system.

We realise that our families lead very busy lives and have therefore designed our payment system to enable your son or daughter to participate in a practical learning experience whilst preventing the need for you to purchase the materials at a greater cost.
