Letter to Parents and Carers: Year 7 Technology

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of the Technology curriculum at Outwood Academy Shafton, students have the opportunity to create a variety of products in the areas of Food (range of products including packaging), Product Design (mirror), and Graphics (chocolate bar and packaging).  Outwood Academy Shafton will provide the materials, ingredients and packaging required to produce the individual products; however, this will incur a cost and we are therefore asking for a contribution of £25.

This can be paid as a one-off payment or by weekly instalments throughout the year until the payment is complete. Payment should be made via IPayImpact, our online payment system.

We realise that our families lead very busy lives and have therefore designed our payment system to enable your son or daughter to participate in a practical learning experience whilst preventing the need for you to purchase the materials at a greater cost.
