Dear Parents and Carers,
We are excited to invite students to get involved in our Student Voice Parliament, providing an opportunity for students to share their ideas, represent their peers and play an active role in shaping improvements across our academy.
Student Voice supports continuous improvement across areas such as the environment, charity, teaching and learning, wellbeing, positivity and anti-bullying. There are a variety of roles available, including:
- PDG Representatives
- Wellbeing Champions
- Charity Committee
- Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
- Eco Warriors
- Careers Ambassadors
- Teaching & Learning Ambassadors.
Being part of Student Voice is a fantastic way for students to develop leadership skills, make new friends, support others and help make positive changes within the academy. Every student has a voice, and every voice matters.
How to Join
- Years 7, 9 & 11: Tuesday break – Room 1.5 with Miss Lyons
- Years 8 & 10: Thursday break – Room 1.5 with Miss Lyons
These sessions will also be used for regular Student Voice meetings.
We also are accepting applications for our new Student Voice Prime Minister. Information has been shared on their Google Classroom and in our weekly notices. Students in Year 8 to Year 11 can apply and can collect an application form or further information from Miss Lyons in 3.17b.
