Dear Parents and Carers.
As the Spring term draws to a close I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. I am so incredibly proud of our students and the resilience that they continue to display.
This half term, our students have actively participated in fundraising initiatives and hosted a wonderful senior citizen afternoon tea. These events represent our deep commitment to the wider community.
It will be a pleasure to welcome students back on Monday 13 April ready for the final term and the challenges that lay ahead. We cannot wait to get started on this term, ensuring our consistent learning routines, high expectations, praise and rewards are once again firmly embedded.
When we return from the Easter break we will be working with Y11 students to ensure that they are focussed, calm and ready to start their formal exams. It is important that students maintain high levels of attendance and attend the enrichment sessions planned to support their progress.
As Year 11 students work towards their GCSE exams and the end of their secondary education, it is a real opportunity for students in other year groups to step up in readiness for the next phase of their education.
The latter part of the summer term will see us welcome Year 6 students for transition, we will celebrate the success of Year 9 with our Graduation ceremonies and, of course, Year 11 will attend the event of the season, Prom!
I hope that you have a safe and relaxing Easter break; thank you for your support as ever.
Yours faithfully,
Alison McQueen
Principal
